Production Line
High Temperature Tape Production Process


一. Raw Material Inspection & Warehousing


  1. Base Material Inspection: Check thickness, appearance, heat resistance and tensile strength of PI film, PET film, PTFE film and fiberglass cloth.


  2. Adhesive Inspection: Test solid content, viscosity, heat resistance grade and environmental indicators of silicone adhesive and acrylic adhesive.


  3. Auxiliary Material Inspection: Inspect release film/release paper, paper tubes, solvents, curing agents and color pastes.


  4. Qualified raw materials will be put into storage; unqualified materials will be isolated and returned to suppliers.


二. Adhesive Mixing & Preparation


  1. Weigh adhesives, curing agents, functional additives and solvents according to standardized formulas.


  2. Conduct high-speed dispersion and stirring, then filter to remove impurities.


  3. Defoam statically and record batch number, viscosity and solid content for quality traceability.


三. Base Material Surface Treatment


  1. PI & PET Film: Corona treatment to enhance surface adhesion of substrates.


  2. Fiberglass Cloth: Impregnate with silane coupling agent and dry thoroughly to seal fabric gaps.


  3. PTFE Material: Sodium-naphthalene etching or plasma treatment to improve adhesive bonding performance.


四. Precision Coating


  1. Unwind base materials with automatic deviation correction and leveling system.


  2. Adopt micro-gravure coating or blade coating to ensure uniform adhesive thickness.


  3. Complete single-side coating or double-side lamination coating as required; avoid missing coating, bubbles and particle defects.


五. Segmented Drying & Curing


  1.Adopt multi-section temperature-controlled oven for staged solvent volatilization and adhesive cross-linking curing:


  - Low temperature section: Volatilize solvents slowly to prevent bubble generation


  - Medium temperature section: Complete preliminary curing of adhesive layer


  - High temperature section: Realize deep curing for stable high-temperature resistance


 2.Temperature Standard by Product:


- PET masking tape: Max curing temperature ≤ 200℃


- PI tape & fiberglass insulating tape: 260℃ - 280℃


- PTFE Teflon tape: 360℃ - 380℃


六. Rewinding & Aging Treatment


  1. Rewind coated materials into standard master rolls after coating.


  2. Place master rolls in constant-temperature aging room for 24-72 hours to promote full cross-linking of adhesives.


  3. Aging process ensures no adhesive residue and stable peeling force under long-term high-temperature working environment.


七. Secondary Rewinding


  1. Eliminate internal stress of master rolls via secondary rewinding.


  2. Remove defective sections, calibrate length and surface flatness for further slitting.


八. Precision Slitting


  1. Slit rolls into customized widths according to customer orders.


  2. Strictly control dimensional accuracy without burrs and adhesive overflow.


  3. Complete small roll rewinding and accurate length counting.


九. Die Cutting (Customized Processing)


  1. Produce customized shaped gaskets and insulating parts by flat die cutting or rotary die cutting.


  2. Finish waste removal and finished product slicing.


  3. Inspect overall dimension and appearance quality strictly.


十. Finished Product Inspection


  1. Appearance Inspection: Free of dirt, adhesive overflow and joint defects


  2. Dimensional Inspection: Check width, thickness and overall length


  3. Performance Test: High temperature resistance test, peeling force test, residue-free test, insulation voltage resistance test


  4. Environmental Certification Check: Comply with RoHS, REACH and other international environmental standards


十一. Packaging & Warehouse Delivery


  1. Pack finished tapes with moisture-proof protective film; mark specification, temperature resistance grade, batch number and quantity on outer cartons.


  2. Input product information into system and finish warehousing management.


  3. Arrange shipment according to customer orders.
